Chiều ngày 11/7/2022, Đoàn cán bộ trường ĐH Ngoại thương do PGS, TS Lê Thị Thu Thủy - Chủ tịch Hội đồng trường làm trưởng đoàn đã đến ghi sổ tang và gửi lời chia buồn tới Chính phủ, nhân dân Nhật Bản và gia quyến Ngài Abe Shinzo tại Đại sứ quán Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam.
Tập thể cán bộ, giảng viên và sinh viên trường ĐH Ngoại thương luôn trân trọng tình cảm đặc biệt và những hỗ trợ quý báu của Cố Thủ tướng dành cho đất nước và con người Việt Nam cũng như quan hệ đối tác chiến lược sâu rộng giữa 2 nước Việt Nam - Nhật Bản.
Sự ủng hộ của Cố Thủ tướng cho sự phát triển trong quan hệ hợp tác về giáo dục và đào tạo giữa 2 quốc gia đã tạo điều kiện để trường ĐH Ngoại thương cùng các đối tác là các trường đại học, tổ chức và doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản đạt được những thành tựu tích cực trong đào tạo và cung cấp nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao cho xã hội.

On hearing the demise of Former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo, on 11th July 2022, The delegation from Foreign Trade University led by Assoc, Prof.Dr Le Thi Thu Thuy - Chairwoman of University Council had visited the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi to send the deepest condolences to the Government, People of Japan and family of H.E. Abe Shinzo. Staff, lecturers and students of Foreign Trade University always appreciate and cherish the special affections and precious support that H.E. Abe Shinzo had given for the country and people of Vietnam as well as the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between VietNam and Japan.
The support of Former Prime Minister for the development of cooperation in education and training between the two countries has created favorable conditions for Foreign Trade University and its partners which are universities, organizations and corporates from Japan to attain positive achievements in training and providing high-quality human resources for society.
